Made in Indonesia #3: On the Go with Sew Stories

I knew Sew Stories for the first time on June 2011. And, I was one of Sew Stories clients for its first products. As usual, I'm a complicated buyer! Ahai! I asked so many revision from the original design: resize the clutch and add coin pocket for the travel-O wallet.

Next, on August, I ordered a bag. A big size bag with lot of pockets. The long discussion with Imelda, the owner of Sew Stories, was started on August 2011. Starting with sending and tagging some sample of bags, the discussion was prolonged and prolonged with the choosing of fabrics, special request, etc. After the never end discussion, I got the first Gro-BAG, I guest, after the sample of course.

Julliane Clutch
First of all, I like the half-moon-like form and the combination between cotton or linen fabrics and synthetic leather. There are two size: medium (L=24 cm) and large (L=30 cm), but I wanted it between! Lucky me, at that time Imelda still had time to manage this 'special request', and finally it's realized on 27-28 cm long! Inside, Imel put two pockets: one pocket with zip for coins and one opened-pocket for cards.

As I change bags often, this clutch is very very helpful. I put my important and daily needed personal things inside and I just need to replace the clutch every time I change my bag. Wolla!

Travel-O Wallet
It is designed to keep passport and some more things such as ID cards, banking cards. At first time, I would like to use it for daily, so that I asked Imel to revise the design and put a coin pocket. Yes, she made it very well. I like the composition between red and brown color, between outside and inside fabrics. It's well done, trust me!

Gro-BAG

It's medium-to-big size (LxWxH = 38x30x20cm) with lot of pockets: two pockets in front, elastic pocket on left and right outside, other two elastic pockets on left and right inside, one big pocket and three little pockets inside. Gro-BAG comes along with two shoulder straps beside of the hand straps.

I adore this bag since it's voracious: you can put tons of things inside! My clutch, Kendra's diaper and clothes changing stuffs, snacks for Kaila, pocket camera, and some more things. Thanks for the designs which allow us to find the things easily.

I'm happy that Sew Stories now is growing, not only bigger but also, more important in my opinion, more creative and rich of ideas.  The "longer and limited order list" is a consequence after that. Thanks for the new selling strategy by issuing ready stock collections. More people (read: women) adore the products. Lot of Sew Stories admirers keep their eyes on facebook wall to made them not miss the new ready stock items.

Well done, Sew Stories team!
